Status: Currently in effect
Summary
The service these Terms describe is now the service that exists. The single data-quota tier is replaced by three time-bounded connection modes, the fair-use ceiling is stated for what it is, and a new section sets out every reason a session can be ended before its time is up. The legal framework — age, acceptable use, disclaimers, liability, governing law and arbitration — is unchanged.
Key Changes:
- §2.2 replaces the single quota-based tier with Marathon, Balanced and Sprint, and states the 180-minute cap on remaining time
- §2.3 states the 10 GB per session fair-use ceiling and that it is an anti-abuse limit, not an allowance to spend
- §3.3 is new: the six operational reasons a session can end early, and that reconnecting starts a new one
- §3.1 describes the anonymous token issued by our own backend, replacing the former third-party authentication
- §3.2 adds that the app ends a session whose tunnel has stopped responding
- §4.2 states both rate limits, for session operations and for status checks
- §5 drops the fixed minimum viewing time, and adds consent and reward verification
- §6.2 corrects the list of third parties, including the hosting provider
- §7.1 drops the per-server user figure that was never accurate
- §17 definitions rewritten around modes, extensions and the fair-use ceiling
