1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Odo - Simple Mileage Tracking ("Odo", "the App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

There are no age restrictions for using Odo. The App stores data locally on your device and is safe for users of all ages.

These Terms are accompanied by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data (your data stays on your device - we don't collect it). By using the App, you also acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

Odo is a free mileage tracking application for iOS and Android devices that allows you to:

• Manually log trips with start and end odometer readings
• Capture optional location snapshots for geographic context
• Track vehicle-related expenses (fuel, tolls, parking, maintenance, car wash, other)
• Categorize trips as business or personal
• Calculate mileage deductions using IRS rates
• Manage multiple vehicles
• View monthly statistics and summaries
• Export data to CSV and PDF formats (includes location data)
• Import trip and expense data from CSV files

Key Features:

• Local Storage: All data stays on your device
• Manual Entry: All mileage calculated from odometer entries you provide
• Optional Location: Capture GPS snapshots (not tracking) for context
• Completely Free: No purchases, subscriptions, or ads

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of odometer readings and expense data you enter
• Correctly categorizing trips as business or personal
• Verifying IRS mileage rates are current and accurate
• Consulting tax professionals about deduction eligibility
• Regularly exporting your data for backup purposes
• Maintaining the security of your device
• Managing location permissions according to your preferences

IMPORTANT: Odo is a record-keeping tool, not tax or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals for tax and legal matters.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use Odo for personal mileage tracking, business record-keeping, and generating reports for reimbursement or tax purposes.

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Create fraudulent records for tax claims or reimbursements

5. Data & Privacy

All data you enter into Odo is stored locally on your device:

• Data is stored in a local SQLite database
• Data never leaves your device through the App (except when you share)
• We have no access to your data
• No data is transmitted to our servers
• Optional location snapshots are stored locally, not tracked
• No analytics, telemetry, or user tracking

6. Intellectual Property

Odo and all its components are owned by NeuEra Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business record-keeping.

You retain all rights to the data you enter into Odo. We claim no ownership of your trip records, expense data, location snapshots, or exported files.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ODO IS A RECORD-KEEPING TOOL ONLY AND DOES NOT PROVIDE TAX, LEGAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE.

We do not guarantee error-free operation, accuracy of calculations, or compatibility with all devices. IRS mileage rates shown may not reflect current official rates - verify with the IRS before using for tax purposes. Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS capabilities.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEUERA APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, TAX PENALTIES, OR DENIED REIMBURSEMENTS.

Our total liability is limited to $0 (zero dollars) as this is a free service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeuEra Apps from any claims arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or fraudulent use of App data.

10. Termination

You may stop using Odo at any time by uninstalling the App. When you uninstall, all App data is permanently deleted. Exported files remain where you saved them.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as part of any class action.

12. General Provisions

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may release updates at our discretion but are not obligated to provide support or maintenance.
